hi All, well thats another enjoyable weekend over. they seem too short for us, but work still dictates life for most of us. we had a great trip up. our Dodge towed the Sunliner like it wasn't there. Got to the River Retreat park around 2.30 friday, found Sutcac & Barb already set up with their "fugly' expanding van, Santa 28A & Sharon's ply van , & David & Lyn's big ply van in place. So we set up for the first time with the Sunliner, with help from sutcac it was reasonably trouble free. the others started rolling in. Dosse ( & Ilse) with his van & Humber Super Snipe, then OB (& Lynne) with his Anglia & Sunliner. Roehm 3108 ( & Stephanie) turned up with his licorice allsort Propert, & so Friday night arrived. Had a pretty laid back session in our annex. We brought Woofie, our Border Collie. Come Saturday it was a lovely day. more turned up. the 3 bears ( brian & Barbara) turned up in Groovin', the Ticko's ( john, Lynelle & daniel , & a couple of friends) rocked in with their Chev & Van, & finally Mr Lately ( Earlee) turned up with Sue. Everyone had a great night at the camp kitchen, & at Santa's tent. As the camp kitchen lights turned off without warning at 9.30, everyone had a pretty early night. Quite a few left on Sunday morning, but some stayed longer. It was a pretty good event, with lots of dogs turning up. Maybe we need to use dog friendly parks as part of our events. It certainly seemed to be appreciated by most of us. Jailbarjuice

Great photos thanks JBJ and Sutcac.
It's always inspiring to see a collection of V V's together.
Thanks for sharing. Almost as good as being there! (Not really - I'm just trying to make myself feel better!!)

Great photo's guys, love the nicname Licorice Allsorts!
And "Fugly" looks like it could have been decades ahead of its time when you compare it to the Jayco Expanda's.. VV's seem to have it all!
Thanks for posting the pics guys, can be a time consuming task but its worth it!
With Reddo on this one when i say the ECST cant come quick enough.
Cheers J

A great job downloading all those pics, Dennis - was worth the half hour wait for them to appear via dial-up connection (I live about 120km from Bris and can't get broadband Mr Telstra!!!) Reddo, I like the name - Ray's Rubic's Cube, much better than Licorice Allsorts! That blue paint job alone cost me about $100 cos I stuffed up the first go at painting during the rain. And YES, we did have rain on Saturday night!! Sutcat, they were blue SPINNER crabs you caught That bottom in your pic will be very famous after this weekend, when it helps win at the International Dragonboat races, so keep it and I will have it autographed for you - IF YOU ARE VERY GOOD! Santa - you've now gotta change your handle - unless you grow your beard again. Perhaps Obi can take it on now?? But, as JBJ said, it was a great weekend again. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the humans or the dogs ;D ;D ;D Ray
