We're at Coledale for a mini-break this weekend (Mar 31 - April 1), so if any of the vintage van fraternity are in the vicinity feel free to drop by.
cheers
Belinda and Robert

hi all we're spending 3 days at coledale this weekend (4,5,@ 6th may), so if any v.v.ers are in the area, drop in for a cold beer or glass of white shiraz. the sky is clear and it is a pleasant 26 degrees, so much different to october. (eat your hearts out.) ;D ;D ;D geoff 'n jude hey reddo, you've got to be happy with the result on the sunliner - well done. don't forget, the money is for the trip to mt gambier, not grog or old f100's. geoff 'n jude

Hi Geoff & Jude, Thanks for your message. Yes we are thinking of going down and so yes it would be lovely to touch base. Having said that the weather is not that great at present and is promising to get worse. I must admit the thought of spending the weekend at home in front of the fire is sounding great. So don't count on us as a definate showing this weekend. If we don't make it we will definately catch up in October. Hope you have a great weekend. Regards Diane & Alan

Dear Geoff & Jude, Well it sounds and looks as though you had a good time despite the weather. Newspaper coverage Jude, great! We decided to have a drive down to Coledale on Sunday and check the caravan park out. Unfortunately we had to go via Penrith, so by the time we got down there you had already left. Not to worry we will catch up in October. We drove up each end of the park and also went across the little bridge to check it out. It's a good job we did as the car bottomed out crossing the bridge and that's without any weight in/on it, so we don't have any chance of getting across with the caravan on. We spoke to Norm and luckily he had already got us booked on a site this side of the bridge - phew!!!! Anyway looking forward to meeting everyone on the trip in October, i'm sure it will be great. Regards Diane

Hmmmmmmm Problem is only half solved. What about everyone else that IS booked in on the far side of the crossing. Might have to give Norm a call and get him to talk to the council about sending a backhoe and a truckload of gravel around there and doing something with the approaches to the crossing before october. Gunna be a lot of expensive vehicles and vans heading down to the north end of the park. Local exhaust bloke will be rubbing his hands together if something doesnt get done before we get there. Reddo... Have pick and shovel ... will travel
