Hi Guys,
Have not been here for a while but, lots of things to do......... ;D
Love the idea of the run happening again................. but feel a change of venue a little funny.............
Our first run with Trev was to Harvey and I kind of thought that it was a nice idea .......... it was his run and I still remember that weekend.
If a change of venue is the the go ............ so be it ..........
luv ditz

G'day Will & Lyn,
You can book a site for me. Initially I agreed with Ditzy in regards to venue (Harvey), but after thinking about it, 2 things came to mind:
1. The first memorial run organised by Snail was at Brunswick 2. Trev would have gone anywhere if it involved old vans, old cars and fun!!

Hi Bert and Jan Great news all is looking great for our best run yet ;D ;D will be at your run bert ;D more than likely so will my 80 year old mum either yours or Trevs run any how I think mum will be the elder stateswoman of the group when she and her partner hit the road I gave mum Elvis to be able to come on the runs with us But Alas we all know what happened to Elvis!!!!! BBOOOOOOMMMMM!!!! Jeff was blown out the van and recieved 18 stitches mum was in it 20 minutes before Lucky she wasnt in it because of the highly flammable curtains and seat covers So ;D I found mum another van to work on and they have been doing just that over the last three months I picked up a1969 franklin for $800.00 not in real good condition and this is what they made it into entirely painted the outside with new stripe and fully remodelled the inside Mums name is Liz and her partner Jeff Like good wine my mum gets better with age I will post a photo later crap bucket has just closed down for maintenance right in the middle of this posting Will

Hey Shorty and lynn I wish Liz lived on the east side of OZ. Looks like she is pretty handy with the needle and thread. I know of an old roo van near newcastle that could do with some new curtains and "frilly bits". Thats a great job her and jeff have done on the interior . Looks really "welcoming" and comfy. I suspect they might not be tuned into this forum so please pass on my " congratulations" on a great effort. what do they intend to to it with? ? Oh and do them a favour... make sure the gas is off before they tow the van anywhere . Cheers big ears Reddo

Hi Will & Lyn I would have thought that after bringing up a "grenade" for a son with such a short fuse .Then near blowing herself of the face of the earth with propane ;D , ( R.I.P Elvis) Your mum would have moved onto bigger things than 10KG LPG bottles ;D. With all her near death experience with explosives and highly flammable gases i thought she would have graduated to something with a bit more "Punch".... like Hydrogen .....or Nuclear power to drive her fridge , stove and bedpan!!! On the other hand you may be well advised to steer her onto something more ecofriendly in her twilight years . May i suggest wiring her up to solar energy.......Good for warming her joints and hinges recharging her "exides", frying ants with magnified prescription glasses ...... and the only strife she can get into is a bad dose of sunburn . Oh and she might not be as active on cloudy days . Give her our regards ........ Have sent her a sympathy card for putting up with you as a son . Cratehead from the "far side".
