Hi y’all The menu for the 2006 “under the stars at Boddington “ diner run is now available for your perusal, [ see attached ] For the great unwashed, the Boddington Run is being held on Saturday Sept 29th through to Monday Oct 2nd [ public holiday here in the wild west ] So, as a special treat, join in the fun of a long week end and come to Boddington for a Black Tie and Tiara banquet under the stars [ let’s hope like hell it doesn’t rain ] Dress code is optional BUT you must wear either a Black Tie or a Tiara or both if your that way inclined? ? [ ed note; not that there’s anything wrong if you bat left handed] Cost is $20 per head [ your body is free ] and the grand chef of all chefs, the one and only “Pottsy the Magnificent “ will whip up a storm in the camp oven [ or a straight oven if your that way inclined] and the whole deal will be supervised by “ Josephine the Mrs Magnificent” your maitre’ de. This event promises to be one of the Premier events on the 2006 Vintage Vanners social calendar . Numbers are limited [ max 20 with a 16 min] so join up now to avoid disappointment [ not to mention the great tucker and quite a few great laughs ] PS: there is one stipulation------NO Chateau Cardboard wine casks----BYO glass vessels only and see the attached menu for other items req’d. After all, this is a class event you know. No yobbos around here, cobber, digger, mate [spit ] Dollars and numbers need to be in by Sept 1 for catering purposes, so send an e-mail to the Lillypad [ Pottsy] re payment Secure your seat now and remember “ we’re not fancy, but we’re cheap “ Loveshack; PR consultant to “Pottsy the Magnificent” trading as Lillypad Restorations.
