Hi all, just a note of thanks for the opportunity to meet & greet other V Vers at Bendigo swap. Would like to have stayed longer but as the tent was being lifted by the storm as we met had to dash off & tie stuff down;looking forward to Mt.G

To Vintage Vanners at the Bendigo Swap Sorry about the extreme heat and storms on Saturday but glad the swap is over for yet another year. Great to have the informal gathering at FJ's cafe to meet Mark, Leigh, Alan, Geoff and others. Mark Bendigo

yeah likewise guys, it was great meeting you all & being able to put faces to forum members and have a chin wag about our hobby . The meeting was conducted a bit like an AA meeting really wasn't it, whereby we sat around in a group, individually introduced ourselves, admitted to having a problem, then set about discussing possible solutions to the problem ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I really enjoy the Bendigo swap, and try to get there biannualy. With the vintage caravan movement getting bigger each year, the swap is also a good opportunity for us to meet. Leigh (Sportsman1) kindly allowed me to display T shirts and polo shirts for sale at his site....... in my haste to catch a plane last Thursday, I forgot to pack the bloody calenders , so sorry guys, but they are still available via mail. Thanks to Geoff (firefighter) for his invitation to Rod & I to the Bendigo swapmeet organisers BBQ. We had a great night (thanx to hosts Clive & Peggy) and met alot of interesting 'people' with varied interests from Veteran cars to Brock Commos Rod & I were that paraletic at the night's end, we had to catch the Bendigo disabled peoples taxivan back to our hotel ;D ;D ;D Also thanks to Alan Stevens for taking the trouble to show me his collection of cars & caravans ......wow .....does he have some interesting vehicles & stuff on his property ......he has the largest know collection of caravans .....and some real old interesting ones at that Mark
