Hi there everyone, I have just purchased a very cute 1954 Supalite. She is complete (as far as a novice can tell) but needs stripping back many layers of paint inside & out. My interest in getting a van started at a vintage car show with my hubby many years ago. We were not palnning to buy just yet but he stubbled across her on that terrible ebay and bought her. Can anyone help me with some history on the supalite company. I know they were Sydney based? My grandmother is sure she honeymooned in one in 1947! Any info would be wonderful. Many thanks Mel

Oh my goodness!!! kb3 thats her. We were meant to pick ours up this weekend but unfortunately we have to wait till next weekend so I have yet to step inside mine. Do you know if their are many still around? Like I said we are new to all this. So I guess the pink was the original colour. We were not sure about that. Wow I'd love to hear about your van. Will pop some photos on once we get ours. Many thanks Mel.
Thank you Kingy for your reply. What a beautiful van. Its really great to see vintage vans being used and enjoyed.

Yes Kris, that is so funny! I can't wait to pick her up. She is a birthday/christmas/anniversary present from my hubby. I can't wait to start work on her. I'm the cleaning paint scraping sanding and painting type, unlike my other half. Its going to be great to have a project other than children. Mel
