Humpty Dumpty is in Thornton, NSW. Thats on the Newcastle end of the F3.( thats the expressway between Sydney & Newcastle for you out of towners) Peter & Denise are both keen vanners and old car enthusiasts. Have 3 Sunliners & a 10ft ply ( not sure of its breed yet but looks like a Castle). I tow my Sunliner with a 66 XP Fairmont Station Wagon and I am a member of the Hunter Antique Touring Soc ( links from the Van website !) There are 8 Sunliners & an Olympic in this car club.

Hi Guys, I haven't logged on for a while because I've been busy preparing my two EH's for sale (so I can buy a vintage van). I live at Yellowrock NSW which is about half an hour south of Wollongong and as well as the two EH's I have a HD Premier and am looking at an FB Holden to tow a 50's van when I eventually get one but the EH's have to go as I've filled up Dad's shed and he will probably kill me if I buy something else. Hope to be joining you vintage vanners soon, Todd

Hope it's not too late to add my bits to this base (data base)! I just aquired a 1957 van and will be posting pix n stuff soon. I am in Southern Sydney and have a 2002 monaro, VT Berlina (hope that satisfies the Holden freaks ) a 2003 Pajero (wife'nkidsmobile) and a 66 Ford XP 2 door to stick in front of the van. My 2 wheel vintage interests are a 1942 BSA outfit and a 1966 Triumph Thunderbird... and a Harley Road King.... no wonder my wife hates me! But she LOVES the van... yep, I finally found something she ALSO likes..... for now!

Highwayman ... its never to late is only the beginning. If your wife loves the van then weve got double trouble because if you get bitten like most of us by the vintage van bug then good things happen. Great people on this site and lots of great information, shared lotsa good stories and lotsa fun times at the runs. Welcome to the site ...... Sounds like you have got a good wife with all the toys ,you can drop off the thunderbird at my house if you get tired of it !! regards Will ;D Looking forward to your posting a photo of your van

My owners/carers and me live in the inner suburbs of Newcastle..We are a quiet bunch, usually four ;D :Pplus me and just love to get away when ever we can to find quiet sleepy places to unwind and catch up on the things that are missed with our busy and at times hectic commitments.I say quiet getaways but usually it can be impossible to arrived any where with out being noticed and once all the greetings and info and picture moments are out of the way,the relazing can begin..PPS came to us by chance and who could not accept the opportunity to own and enjoy a classic van as PPS,but one day the colour will change, any suggestions!...

From NODDY, Hi Noddy is actually the name of the 9'6" Atlantic bond-wood van which was built in 1949 and has been in my family for 43 years. Who where and ?? My name is Colin and wife Judy (60 and 58) own and run our own business in conflict resolution see www.negotiation.net.au if interested in more. We live in Gisborne Victoria and tow the van with a XE Falcon engined Mercedes Benz 1973 250/8 which has been 95% restored and used as my normal work car. Have 2 grown kids, one 26 and one 24 they both love the van now although it was a source of acute embarrassment to them when they were self conscious teenagers. Look in the Photos thread and the Atlantic thread for info about the van. Looking forward to meeting you all on the road some-where. Phone 03 5428 3002 email: colinrose@negotiation.net.au We also love Triumph motorcycles and currently ride a 2002 Triumph Sprint ST 955 sports tourer.

;D Hi noddy and family Interesting job you do I like the book you posted because I am the worlds worst negotiator I let everyone win well! sort of Unfortunately if I think somebody is trying to rip me I just wont deal with them at all Thats bad isnt it? welcome to the site and hope you can enjoy the unique bond that we share on this site its kinda different than a club you could call it more like a family ;D money gives you options but money is fleeting too and sometimes a smile or a great message like the one that belinda posted regards the annexe I offered her and her family makes you feel good ;D it gives me much pleasure to see it go to someone like Belinda who values her little van and will assist the great times the family will enjoy together in it I know there is more to negotiation than money and it certaintly is an art even your little quote in your site preamble gives you confidence about negotiation doesnt it very interesting book I will finish reading it now Regards Will and Lyn
