Been threatening to do it for some time & I won't do it again in a hurry She's got the fittings & upholstery inside. And override brake coupling Just needs pretend brakes & a jockey wheel And to show both the model I made of "Driftwood" long time ago and Ol' 36 together... “Ol'36” model and the Trax TRL 1B FJ Holden in 1:24 scale... and “Driftwood” and Trax 8001 FJ Holden in 1:43 scale Scale. Cobber.

Hey Cobber, Great effort on the model of Ol '36. I love it. The detail of the windows, upholstery, sink and coupling, etc, is fantastic. And the combo with the FJ? Really cool. The only thing now is that you're going to have to respray the roof of your FJ to match the model. ;D ;D ;D Have you thought of going into business with Retro1's friend Graham? You could produce mantlepiece models and he could produce letter boxes replicating people's vans... You'd both have a never ending queue outside your places I reckon! Anyway, love your work. bobt, Nice of you to suggest I might be to young for Grandkids, actually the ones we have are just in between the pedal car stage and wanting to borrow the real thing Brett, You probably recognised the car as being one of the "Trax" models.... I have nagged at them a few times about producing a scale model caravan, maybe a “Gypsy” or a “ DON” but so far to no avail. As for me.... I won't be making any more until I forget how long this one took to make . Cobber.

Alex Fulcher ( Fulcher's Caravans, who have an old Gypsy in pride of place in their show room) gave me this vintage caravan model a few days ago (I think he thinks I've got vintage caravanitis : ..... It needed a bit of fixing up but I wasn't going to repaint it, but looking at this photo it might be a good idea if I did aye ?. Our Son gave me the FJ a few years ago, they go well together I think. Our grand-daughter lent me the people Cobber.
