This caravan was at Cora Lynn on Sunday. Does anyone know what brand it is? I wasn't able to locate the owner, and I'm not sure if they are involved in the forum. I noticed that the van had a "Courtney's Caravans" sticker on it, so I was wondering if it was a Courtney? It has some similarities to the pic of the Courtney in DHL. Don Ricardo

Hi Richard, that van belongs to Dennis and Karen Jones, it is no wonder that you couldn't locate the owners, they were busy all day long running the show. ;D ;D
They both deserve a medal for enthusiasm, somehow in the midst of all the organising for the car show they managed to get the final coat of paint on the van .... on Saturday morning .. ;D ;D
It arrived at Coralyn with still wet paint, there was some concern re it staying on, but all want well and the van looked great.
Cheers,Kris.

I'm curious if anyone can tell me who owns a car/van set up pictured, looks like a turquoise Prefect? and Roma, pictured after Johns Humber and Homemade in HAD708's pics?
I wouldn't mind a chat to see how they fare towing. I'm thinking that this may be a set up that was referred to somewhere in another thread that mentioned them touring Oz...
Cheers Chris

Hi Chris,
I think you should put your glasses back on! ;D ;D
Unless I am mistaken the car you are referring to is Groovygramps' Mk 1 Zephyr.
There is a blue Prefect running RS2000 running gear over in the West which is probably the one you are thinking about. If you want info on that one give Olfarts a PM.
cheerybye, Leigh.

Hi minicamper,
The Mark 1 Zephyr 6 tows the van really well. The car is very happy sitting on 50 miles per hour (80 K's) it can do more than this but we don't push it. On the occasions that we have asked for more it does it.
One trip we did was 2600 miles in 2 weeks Geelong, Echuca, Yarrawonga, Albury, Geelong and side trips in between, the car just pulled all day no worries.
We tend to do long trips rather than short ones such as Geelong, Horsham, Echuca, Geelong again with no worries.
A guy from Queensland took our car engine number to search his archives of zephyrs engine number history and phoned us to tell us that there is only one other Zephyr older than ours by 2 weeks on the road. Our Zephyr is 1953 and has not been restored as yet.
Cheers, groovygramps
