Cumberland Caravans information from the 1962 Winser caravan manual:(Source: Keith Winser, Australian Caravan and Touring Manual for 1962, 14th edition, 1962, pages 134-5) The most interesting feature is the 'scalloped' window treatment, front and rear, of the 15 ft 6 in van shown in the first pic. It's described by Winser as "notched double-ended". I don't recall seeing an example of this van on the forum, and in fact I can't think of any other caravan with the same 'scalloped' or 'notched' styling (however, you want to describe it). Definitely an interesting and unique feature. The advert on the second page is the same as that published in the 1961 caravan manual (see post higher up this thread). Don Ricardo

Cumberland caravan used for their 1956 honeymoon by the parents of Sue S, posted on the The History of the Old Lost Western Suburbs of Melbourne Facebook page in June 2020:Based on information higher up this thread about the Cumberland models from about this time, I think the caravan in the photo is probably a 10ft 6in Cumberland Cabin.
