Hi Ralphy, ;D Welcome to the forum - I don't know a Sunliner's height but I admire your VV dedication!!!! ;D Shorting the roof of the house to get the Sunliner in - LUV it. ;D You are the just the type of person that will fit in here perfectly. Love your choice of van TOO, ;D Don't listen the old grumps that say you need wood rot, borers and white ants. Sunnys are tops - well after fibreglass Olympics of course ;D Cheers, TonyH

hey, before you destroy the eaves - just a thought - if you only need a small amount - up to 4" I guess - there are those wheels that are just a centre with a rubber around a flat rim, (or make up a set to suit) so you loose the height of the tyre - might be enough because my Viscount was 7'9" before I raised her 4". tonyh

I went through the permit thing - Qld not too bad - NSW a nightmare - easer to hire a tandem trailer & load her up -- also saves the problems with bearings, lights etc. tonyh

To get a permit in N.S.W. the van has to be inspected and a pink slip obtained (about $30) and then a permit to move from the RTA which costs about $16 and don't forget they need a receipt of sale. You would have to get one from NSW, not QLD.
