Hi Guys, I found this van a couple of days ago only a few doors down from where I work in Bellambi NSW. Acording to the old VIC rego label it's a 1966 Wayfarer Rambler. It's in pretty good condition and looks as though someone has been living in it but the door was open so I went in and took some photos. There are quite a few old caravans in various sheds on this property but most of them have been vandalised. Todd

Hi Todd, In the February 1949 edition of Keith Winser's Motor Manual, there was supposed to be an article about a Rambler caravan, but they printed something else on that page instead. So I don't know whether the Rambler article appeared in a later mag or not. Anyhow, I'm now wondering whether this 1949 Rambler is related in some way to the Wayfarer Rambler you've posted above. I'll pinch your photos (with your permission of course ) and add them to the Wayfarer history. ps. any chance of sneaking some photos of the other vans in this yard? Sounds like there might be a local van cemetery...? cheers, Al.

Hi Todd, What a great looking van, the outside looks in very good nick - would be great to see it back on the road. I hate to hear and see these yards that become "graveyards" because for some reason the owners won't part with them any they just disintegrate or get vandalized. At least this one is under cover.
