Hi Igor
There are few of us out here, have a look at the "Down History Lane" Carapark section. We would love to see some pics of your van, have you worked out Photobucket yet?
Matt (Vintage Caravans) and I are about to post some beauties of both his new Astronaut and my Bess together..... stay tuned....
There are also a few Zestlines out there ready for saving at the moment, so try and convince others you know and we'll make sure we don't lose them!
We are seriously considering a Carapark club T shirt.....
Welcome!!
Mel

Hi Igor! I love your van! there is a thread on here somewhere with it I think (or do I have the wrong van - is it the one with heaps of "add-ons" doubling the weight??)
Mel, aaarrrggghh the dreaded "C" word! (not Carapark the other one!!!) lol
M@
incidentally I have gone through a few of the old posts and there are a few in various stages of repair, some folk have been a little quiet on posting pictures, might have to contact them and see how they are faring! it would be most interesting to see just how many are left
Just on a side note does anyone know of any other Astronauts floating around??? (I have just taken custodianship of the one originally posted in 2005 by Astronauty - pictures to follow)

Yes it is the one with add ons doubling the weight. Once i work out how to use photo bucket as im not real smart on the computer i will put some photos on, also of my tow cars which are a 57 cadillac and 38 chev hot rod. My daughter and son inlaw have a astronaut van to be towed by a 64 caddy and one of my sons has a valiant van to be towed by what else but a valiant.

Igor, I love your van, it certainly is unique and not one ot be lost in a sea of plain white vans!! my only concern would be waking up the morning after tying one on! Isn't that last picture an Astronaut 15/5 ?? cause it is almost exactly the same as mine Matt P.S. I would love to find and chat to the owner of the Astronaut, and get some pictures of fittings that are missing off my van etc (hopefully Igor it is your Daughter and her Husbands van)

So so so so sorry for the slip of the tongue there...... I promise never to utter the dreaded C word again. And I will repeat 10 times a day... "There will never be minutes, There will never be minutes".....
Wow Igor, certainly a lot to look at there! It's such a great shape isn't it. I love the huge windows and the great space inside these vans.
Great praise indeed Reddo to have Ali vans placed above your beloved fobberglass, am I supposed to feel blessed? Or just a little less frightened of the ticking noise in the night.....
