Our little van ( vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/7709) (aluminium clad 10/11 ft quest) needs some work & we're not sure where to start or what to do, so came here to ask the experts. The floor is feeling pretty squidgy & raised in some areas, so at least some of it needs to be replaced. We think the frame has rotted out around the bottom, so the sides & trim are working loose & there's nothing to attach them back to. She's parked on the street but we might be able to get some workshop space to work on her, depending on what she needs. We're not sure if 1. We can fix the floor without taking everything out/removing the walls? 2. We can fix the sides/trim without removing them? Basically we're not sure where to start, what to expect, how much of a commitment it will be and if it's even feasible given that we don't have much space to work in. It'd be great to hear from any of you with knowledge about these vans, you can scroll through the images of the trim, sides & floor below. Thanks for anything you cam tell us! Sadly this is what happens when these van are left in the open for such a long time. Not the first time someone has done that. From what can be seen from the pics you're really looking at a complete rebuild and that would be pointless if you don't have shelter for your van on a permanent basis.

We always had a cover over her which worked well but unfortunately had to leave her for a while & the cover tore/came off. We'd get another cover if we could fix her up but looks like she might be off to the scrap heap, which is a real shame. Thanks for your help.
