Hi all, Forum member Margra has contacted me to say that, due to his wife's ill health, he needs to sell the 1968 Chesney 19ft Aero-Frame tandem caravan he has been renovating. Extensive work has been already undertaken on the van and all the bits are there to complete it. All the equipment items are brand new and never used. Work undertaken includes: - Electric brakes on front axle
- 2 x 80 litre water tanks
- Plumbing throughout
- Completely rewired with all double pole equipment
- New reverse cycle air con gassed and running
- Silentflow water pump
- Gas storage water heater
- Dometic 2 door 3 way fridge
- Shower unit
- Flush cassette toilet
- Sink
- New A frame and 2 x 4kg gas bottle holders
- New 2 level steps
- 12 volt lighting
- Tinted windows
- New window struts and catches.
- New 4 season hatch
The asking price is $9,000 and the van is located in Nambour, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.Margra says that 'This is not a bad van to start with for a handy man it was stripped out when we got it and has a lot of potential...There is more than $9,000 in new bits in the van plus it is almost lined and l have the boards doing with the deal to finish it.' I (Don Ricardo) haven't seen the van personally, but it looks like a great project for someone. If you're interested ring Graham (Margra) on 0412 515 824 or PM (Personal Message) Margra direct via the forum.

Thanks, yes it's certainly a life changer was doing this van to get away and travel around to all the VV meets but not going to happen now. This van would be great for someone willing to finish and yes it has a lot of good fitting. Thanks for your thoughts Graham
