Don't be fooled by the date haha Our 2022 Glorious Gippsland Gathering will be happening at the Erica Caravan Park on 1-3 April (Fri-Sun) - the previous weekend was fully booked. Thanks everyone who has booked so far. We currently have 10 bookings which is great considering the short notice. There are still a few more sites available so if you know of anyone who might be interested please send them an invite 😃 I have made a booking for 20 ppl for Saturday night at the Erica Hotel for 6pm. It's only a short walk from the caravan park. Fingers crossed we get some good weather but remember it's Gippsland so come prepared for the unexpected  Lisa |

Hi
Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone attending the Gippsland Gathering from 1-3 April, that another vintage vanner Bec Louise, who lives in Erica, has invited everyone up to her place on Saturday, lunch time, for a sausage sizzle and to check out her collection of vintage and old wares.
Bec Louise has two vintage vans, one on the road and one being restored.
She has a huge shed, so if the weather turns cold, there will be an inside fire pit and and outside one if it's fine.
Sausage sizzle and tea and coffee will be provided. Bring your own if you prefer, the BBQ will be fired up.
I've booked in and hope to see you all on Friday.
I'll be in Erica from Wednesday.
We already have a few takers for the Saturday lunchtime BBQ and catch up.

Maria & I couldn’t make it this weekend. When we came back from Bridgewater some bozo took the bolt out of the tow bar , then didn’t remove the bar itself! So if anyone finds a ‘unique to VW’ tongue & ball on the road around Reservoir I’d like it back. VW Australia doesn’t have one so it might be tough to replace. But I’ll get one somewhere.
I was so looking forward to the weekend.

WireTalents, I'm sorry you weren't able to attend. We had a similar thing happened to us too once. Didn't realise until we were hitching up to head off on an adventure! Hopefully you both can join us next year. We're most likely heading back to Erica next year too  |

We had so much fun at Erica. I'm grateful to those who attended despite the weather forecast, and sorry that some of you missed out, in part because of the short notice and limited availability of sites.
The general consensus is that we want to return next year so that those who missed out this year can join in the fun.
Bec & Trev from the caravan park are happy to book out the entire caravan park for us - that's 25 powered sites (& 7 unpowered)
so pencil in the weekend of 23-26 (Thurs-Sun) March 2023.
I'll create a new event with booking details in the coming months.
Only 343 more sleeps! 😆
