Hey guys new member here. We brought an older run down caravan a few years ago and have since renovated the inside and got it registered, on the registration cert it says it’s an 84 low line cub caravan but after a bit of research I don’t think it is (I’m pretty new to the world of caravans so I could be wrong) I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with the year and model or even point me in the right directions !

Hi Amber, I saw that for sale and wondered where they got th names from! Low line was a hire business in Ringwood that bought cheap vans and used them for hiring out long and short term, they also put their stickers on everything! Cub is a. camper trailer manufacturer. Your van actually looks like a Franklin, originally silver aluminium but has been painted at some stage ( quite common back then)The year is about 1965,SGTL on here has a bondwood version that will come to light as soon as she sees this I’m sure.😉 Cheers hughdeany

Hi Amber94,
If there is a serial number on the drawbar of your van we should be able to confirm the build date from that. My guess is a year or two earlier than Hughdeany suggested, but if you have the serial number, that will tell us.
