Hi all. Recently picked up a 1960's , single axle, bondwood -sided, aluminium front and end WAYFARER (knights head badges front and rear to confirm) The paint from the bondwood sides is peeling near the upper edges and is quite thick with current exterior paint(Dark Green) and 2nd last paint colour(creame) and original(light blue). HOWEVER under that appears to be material with a weave....could this be calico? Iv'e never heard of calico on the side of a bodwood...only on the roof
Any infor welcomed jeffhead59

Hi, and welcome. If the material is near the edges/corners it will be sealing tape that was applied over the joins to help seal them and them painted over.
