As a kid, I always wanted my #23 Matchbox Caravan as a life size caravan because it had a verandah on the back! When I win the lotto, this will become a reality. (See my avaitar). I revive (not restore) some of my childhood Matchbox cars that I wore out. Here is my revived Jaguar Mk10 towing my unrevived Matchbox Caravan #23 (head straight to 8m20s for the caravan in action) www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CAcCmU0eTsI'll upload photos of my other Matchbox sized caravans and campers soon. Regards kenny

Once you've looked at the youtube video, check out this 1970's photo of a caravan and a Jaguar - just missing the verandah.

Picked these two up from ebay recently, the seller said he was going to release more ,but a saved search didn't reveal any. I normally only collect caravans, but couldn't resist the BP truck. The SA Toy museum in Wilmington SA has an amazing collection, no amount of cash would make him part with the caravans.

OK you serious collectors, here is a BARGAIN from the UK: Grab a #23, paint the door black & you are on your way to retirement. This one doesn't appear to have the black wheels, which apparently is a rare one as well. and..... You have postage on this bargain deal.
