Hi all I am new to the forum and hope this has not been asked before. We have recently purchased a 1967 Olympic Debonair which has the 13" Holden rims and tyres. Is it possible to fit larger diameter rims to this model? I was thinking the 14" HK to HG rims which have the same bolt pattern or another type? Is there enough room underneath? Any help much appreciated.

If you have some time and tyres try them on and check for clearance before and after the new rims are on I had to change Axel's on my jennison and could only get a 2 inch drop axel 4 inch was on the van two inches less clearance on body and don't have any problems with wheel rub and check the sides as well you can get narrower tyres if they are too close talk to the tyre dealers they are very helpful hope this helps cheers Chris

I have a couple of Olympics, one with a straight axle and one with an overlaid axle(this a standard style axle for the Olympics) with both fitted with 14 X 6 wheels with 185X14 LT tyres. Other than a slight trim on the body which will probably be needed to get the wheel off of the brake drum, 14"wheels and tyres will fit okay. I changed the holden wheels to a ford pattern as I like the idea of 1/2"wheel studs of the ford over 7/16"studs of the GM product.
