Hi all So today I started pulling apart the little van I have bought to convert into a coffee van. I pulled out the plastic windows and removed the shelving. I was originally planning to strip it right back to the chassis and start again as I want to increase the height of the roof by a fraction by increasing the curve of the roof. The chassis also needs a small weld repair so i thought it easier to start all over. However now I have been pottering around inside, the ply and frame seems to be in better condition than I expected and I am wondering if I really do need to pull the whole thing apart.. So my questions!! 1. I want to cut a hole in the side to act as a serving space, I had thought that to do this I would need to remove the whole wall and reframe it. Is this right? Or is there an easier way? 2. If I do need to remove the whole frame, I wanted to keep some of the ply panels as templates but it's all been stuck on which glue and nails and I think it's going to be hard to remove it without damaging it. Any ideas on how to best remove the interior without damaging it? How do I soften the glue to make it easier to remove? I really just need some help in how to tackle this! Thank you!!
