I have a old van viscount Ambassador The front end has been replaced It is old log on the sides split windows both ends And white bond wall and roof Found a number inside on the wall E 41 could that be the van number And what year june 1968 Need some help

Hi Brick, Welcome to the forum. 'E41' sounds like the beginning of the serial number for your van. If the serial number is/was 'E41xx', in other words with two extra digits, then that would indicate that your van was built in 1969. That would fit with the log cabin cladding I think you are referring to. In any case the serial number for an Ambassador around that period would normally be 'E' plus four numbers. If you can post some photos of your van we can probably confirm the year for you. There are instructions on how to post photos using the 'Add Attachment' button if you click here.
