Hi all. Was driving down the M1 yesterday when I espied an approx 15ft Fibreglass walled trailer with only one little pokey upper window, bearing the Olympic name with even the flame in it. Sadly I couldn't take a pic, but still wonder whether anyone has any ideas about this. Did they also make commercial type trailers? It's the first time I've seen one like it! Where's boblor when you need him!!

Hi Roehm, I think you’ve sighted an Olympic Condor - maybe even this one? It was designed by Tony Pusterla who also designed the Linda Walkabout and Murrumba Star Linda Star and Mini Star. Like the Murrumba Star he also produced his own version of the Condor, called the Series 2000. As you’ll see there’s a post from Boblor on the thread I’ve given you the link for, so he’s still around! Don Ricardo

Thanks for your responses guys. To be quite honest I'm not entirely sure if what you're showing was the same style of van, because it was a passing vision in opposite directions and the ID question didn't register till the unit had passed. I didn't think it was as fancy as the Condor, but it could well have been it, especially as I do remember seeing the flame.
I wonder though DonR if perhaps some of those Condor pics could go into the DHL Olympic thread, because it is VERY different.

Hi Roehm, I've copied the photos and some of the text about Olycondor's Olympic Condor to the DHL Olympic thread as you suggested. Don Ricardo
