I've chased the widlflowers in WA and Tassie, but never in the state in which I grew up. Decided to rectify that over the past week, by making a trip to Bell, near Dalby and Possum Park outside of Miles, past Chinchilla. Here's some colour some of you might enjoy, to take away those Covid19 blues.

I suspect these links won't work, so here's a sampling of wildflower colour I found
Bet you didn't know Annastacia build this covid19 wall to keep the southerners out!! More than 5,600 klms of it!! This pic is not staged, the plant grows out of an ant's nest Obligatory Caravan/silo pic near Jimbour, but our silos are without graffiti Camping in Possum Park You even find flowers under any log, if you look YES! This is actually a wildflower
Unfortunately, with the reduced pixels, photoimage really doesn't do justice to what I saw, but at least it gives you an idea.

last year at this time we took the 1953 Vauxhall Vagabond and Sportsman Teardrop from Melbourne to Kununurra, then through WA to Kalgoorlie and back home to Victoria. One of the highlights was seeing the wildflowers on the back roads from Geraldton to Kalgoorlie.
We were away for 10 weeks and covered 18,000 km. Just look at us now - cant go more than 5 kms from home!!!!! So lucky we did it last year and not now.
Your pictures brought back lovely memories of our travels.
