Hi folks I have just started the long awaited restoration of my 1951 Caravan Park Ltd van. This is a personal project as opposed to customer based Carapark restoration / conversion (which causes so much scorn) and as such will be a touring van project for my wife and I. I have been documenting the restoration of Caraparks and publishing that on the Vintage Restorations Australia youtube page for the last year or so, I have posted a link to that in the commercial van thread that is hidden over in "Whatever". The restorations featured there are focused on commercial conversions but much of it is applicable to general Carapark restoration so worth a look if considering a Carapark touring van resto. This playlist (link below) is however focused on a touring van restoration hence it is here. The van was pretty sad and the interior was completely gone but it will be a lovely van when done as it is super well made. Best let the videos tell the story as it unfolds over the next few months. Subscription is free if you wish to follow the restoration of this rare old van. Here is the link to the project, I would welcome any feedback or suggestions. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXy9z8PnGsBusbAYS85Roti2yuPEEPDSUCheers Steve
