Until two weeks ago l didn't realise that there was a brand Valiant. A friend who has inherited this van from hid grandmother was going to do the Reno. He has now been transferred to Tassie and as l have been helping him pack etc, offered me the van FREE, what a score.
Chassis number is B2382 as best as l can make out. Haven't had time to search the typical written date places yet.
Will attach pictures asap.

Hi Deadlydave,
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your good fortune. There is information about Valiant caravans in the Down History Lane section of the forum, which you may already have found?
Based on your serial number, your van was built in 1966, but when we see some photos we’ll be able to confirm that.

Hi Deadlydave, I see you’ve tried to post some photos. I’m looking forward to seeing them. To post photos you can use the ‘Add Attachment’ button in the ‘Create Post’ window, or you can post them via a photo storage website. There are instructions on posting photos using these options in the ‘Forum Guidelines and Helpful Hints’ section of the forum. Just one additional point though, if you want to use the ‘Add Attachment’ button, I’ve just discovered that if you’re accessing the forum from you mobile phone (as opposed to a tablet, laptop or desktop) the button doesn’t appear automatically. So scroll down to the bottom of the page and you’ll see ‘Dashboard’ and ‘Desktop’ in the bottom right hand corner. Click on ‘Desktop’ and ‘Add Attachment’ will appear. Photos need to be 1 Mb or less using this method. And if all that seems too hard, email your photos to me at caravanhistory@gmail.com and I’ll post them for you. Don Ricardo

What good fortune DeadlyDave! Can't wait to see the pics as we have what we believe to be a '66 or '67 Valiant! I'm hoping yours is a match and you have original decals/stickers on yours to help me put the correct ones on ours.
