I have received 2 "C" section Rubber Samples from Vintage Caravan Spares. I have had 2 new window glasses cut. The problem is I can't figure out how to insert the rubber! The glazier has run a bead of Silicon around the inside the frame so I can't easily disassemble he window frames easily. Do I need to dismantle the frame and slide the rubber into the groove then reinsert the glass, or try to push the rubber in with something which I can't seem to do! These window frames are different to the other side windows. These frames I have don't have a lip on he front edge the glass can be put in and removed without removing the top of the window frame. All that seems to hold the glass in is the "C" section Rubber.

Hi Andy Without pics it a bit hard for me to understand what you're trying to do. Can you perhaps post pics of the window frame and rubber you are wanting to us. Here is a link on how to post pics on here vintagecaravans.proboards.com/board/29/post-photos-on-forum You have a choice of flickr or postimage in the index section. I've replaced the windows in previous caravans where H section rubber is used. That gives one channel for the glass and the other channel for the frame it's going into. Here is a good video of how that works. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvcJ_lU_VpQYou may well be talking about something totally different, so it would be good to see some pics
