Hello forum, I'm fixing up an old globetrotter van and pleased to find this forum. Mine may be more of a radical rebuild than a restoration job - the ply is in bad condition, but the interior is pretty good.
I'm replacing all window rubbers and are having difficulty finding the 3mm 'H' rubber that is used on the cast aluminium side windows and rear window. (4.5 and 6mm 'H' section rubber is easy to find, but not 3mm it seems.)
Does anyone have any leads to find the rubber? I'm in Victoria. thanks, mick

G'day Micky, welcome to the forum 😉 In our restoration parts suppliers thread in the 'window rubbers' section you'll find a few suppliers including this one and this one They both have H section 3mm one side and 5mm other side. Finding 3 mm both sides could be a bit of a challenge. Cobber.

Have a read of my Globe restoration thread. I had no end of trouble getting the right profile for the galley window. Finally found some that worked but unfortunately I cannot recall which one it was! I sourced a few profiles from different suppliers. Mainly vintage car parts companies. You will have no joy at mainstream glass or rubber suppliers. vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/17511/globe-caravan-rescue-restoration
