Trying to find out if my van is actually a Millard York. Chassis number is M4797. Tried checking online to see when it was last registered in Victoria so I could find out what van it actually is but it’s saying chassis number not found

Shelley's chassis list on the Millard York fb page indicates circa 1966. Cheers, Arthur

Hi Shaztez2020,
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for telling us a little bit about your caravan.
Just to add to Starburst’s reply, Millard and York were separate brand names, although both were built by Millard. York was Millard’s ‘economy’ line of vans. The ‘M’ in your serial number tells us that it is a Millard. York caravans had a serial number beginning with ‘Y’.
If you post some photos, we may be able to tell you more about it, including the model name. There are instructions on posting photos in the ‘Forum Guidelines and Helpful Hints’ section of the forum.

Hi Bella, You will need to put up a pic of the van,as it’s probably not a Millard or York, there are lots of wrongly branded vans on the market at present. Buyer beware! Cheers hughdeany
