Hi shoeman we have a 72 15 footer. What sort of info are you after? If you enter travelhome in the search engine you will find a number of posts. There are also some in the Classic Caravan forum. cheers Nick

Hi Shoeman, I have a 1974 13ft Travelhome Deluxe. I believe that they were manufactured in Kilsyth Vic. They have a timber frame, so watch out for frame rot. I have had to replace some of my frame. The problem I have with mine is that I am trying to replace the backing plates and brake drums. The original brakes were made by Wesco, a company that no longer exists, so you cant buy replacement parts. If you try to completely replace them with a modern brand, such as El-ko etc, the weld plate on the axle is a different size , and the bolt holes don't match up. If you remove the weld plate, and weld on a new one, make sure the distance from the face of the plate and the tip of the stub axle, match the new brakes. The distance of mine is 115mm, the new brake assembly requires 122mm. If not the stub axle nut will not screw on enough, and the locking split pin will not fit into the hole in the axle. Good luck Ralph.
