Has anyone dated a gypsy. I have a gypsy 13-2. I am trying to work out when it was made, the interior looks slightly more modern than the other 13-2s I have seen, it has thesame lay out as 59 but the cupboard doors etc look like some 1960 carapark zestline. I am wondering if this was built after carapark acquired gypsy. As anyone ever owned a gypsy 13-2 and found a way to figure out when it was built?

G'day Fccool, Great to hear about your Gypsy 13-2. I'm not sure if we can date it precisely, but let's see what we can figure out. I saw your comment about Photobucket. I'm still using it (because I pay for it, and have posted so many photos I don't really have an option!), but most forum members are now using PostImage or Flickr. There are instructions on how to use these photo platforms in a special area in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum, so have a look at that. However, if you'd prefer, you can email some photos of your van to me at caravanhistory@gmail.com, and I'll post them for you. I was intrigued with your comment that your Gypsy seems to look very similar inside to a Zestline. We don't really know what Carapark's acquisition of Gypsy meant in real terms, but maybe you're about to teach us something! I don't think that the Homebush Gypsys are related to the original Gypsys like yours, or to Carapark, but we don't know that for sure either. Don Ricardo

Hi Fccool,
I haven't received an email with your photos yet. Can you check the email address you sent the photos to? It should be: caravanhistory@gmail.com
If that's the address you used, I'm not sure what's happened. Just in case there's a problem with that address, I've sent you a PM with an alternative email address. Just click on 'Messages' in the menu ribbon underneath the 'Vintage Caravans' banner at the top of the forum page.
