Hi there, we are selling our beloved project which we can't continue. A Lot of work has already been done to the running gear see below.

RESTORERS DREAM PROJECT!!
I was told this is a 1957 Gypsy camper van, which apparently are a rare find.
The chassis has the date stamped on it. (although covered by jockey wheel)
We started the restoration with the chassis and running gear, spending thousands to replace everything for a tight foundation - see the list below for what was done.
For the right handy person this would be a cheap restore to bring back to glory.
(providing you're doing it yourself and contain the knowledge with timber work and water damage repair OR of course you have the necessary funds to have it repaired)
A lot of the plywood panels would need replacing/repairing but all the inner components are in good condition and in place. (eg: cupboards, wardrobe, sink, table, icebox fridge - etc etc)
This is a sad sale for us as we have come to realise we lack the time and resources now to complete it but would hope someone could pick up where we left off seeing as the whole underneath of the vehicle is done shy a top coat of paint.
Buyer arranges pickup, we will work with driver to co-ordinate pickup smoothly.

*Chassis sand blasted and two coats of undercoat.
*Custom plate fabricated to install new drawbar assembly and over ride coupling.
*Fitted new axle
*Fitted new disc hubs, bearings and brake callipers.
*Fitted new stabilisers.
*Brand new rims and tyres.
*New brake cable and cable adjuster.
*Swivel jockey wheel.
*Gas tank holder.
