Hi Johno,
There shouldn’t be a problem with uploading photos through a photo storage website as discussed in the thread in the ‘Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints’ section of the forum, even if the photos are high resolution. What storage website are you using?
As an alternative, email you photos to me and I’ll post them for you - caravanhistory@gmail.com

Another week gone and a bit of progress on the van. Our original plan was to do the floor next, we got as far re painting the chassis before we decided that we would be better off cleaning and resealling the outside first. After a weekend of scrubbing and polishing we are only half done. Our process has been a good scrub with CT18 then a light buff with jiff to remove some of the remaining build up and then finished off with purple polish applied by hand. 20190105_143106_HDR by in.kognito, on Flickr 20190105_143157_HDR by in.kognito, on Flickr All in all it’s come up pretty well for an old girl and possibly a little shinier than we planned. The roof and hatch are also off waiting for a good clean before we start the big job or re sealing. 20190106_171257_HDR by in.kognito, on Flickr 20190105_172152_HDR by in.kognito, on Flickr We picked up a couple of interior lights, a cooktop and a small 3 way fridge in our travels during the week and then got lucky at our local flooring place and got a good stack of the same vinyl composite tiles that we used in the last 2 caravan restos. The majority are a light grey (which they had nearly a full pallet of) with a few square meters or what they had leftovers of in few different colours. 2019-01-07_08-38-24 by in.kognito, on Flickr

Hi there
I’m the proud new owner of a gorgeous old zestline and she’s going to need lots of tlc.
I’m looking for hints on how to get started with learning what to do.
My first two goals are to find the vin or chases number to know her age however the original tow bar was replaced. Where else can I find one?
Next, I need a door. How to people find spare parts or a manufacturer who will honour her lovely style?
Thanks for helping me,
Caitlin

Hi Ktcake, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the acquisition of your Zestliner. The story of Jp63’s Zestliner is pretty inspiring isn’t it? Hopefully yours doesn’t need quite as much work? Unfortunately I don’t think you’ll be able to solve the problem of your serial number. Carapark only put the number on the drawbar and even then they don’t seem to have been particularly systematic about it. Some Carapark owners haven’t been able to find a number, but without the original drawbar I don’t think you’ll be able to find anything. You might just have to be content to know that the Zestline model was built between 1960 and 1962. Have you found the Carapark thread in the ‘Down History Lane’ section? To find it click here. You’ll find bits and pieces about the Zestline model there. Another source of info for you if you’re on Facebook is the ‘Carapark Caravans’ and ‘Carapark Caravans Australia’ pages. There’s quite a lot of info there including some ‘How to’ videos about restoring aluminum Caraparks. Most of the posts there are about the “toaster” models, but the same principles will apply to the Zestlines. But even if you find the Facebook pages really useful, we’ll still be interested to hear about your restoration here, so keep posting on the forum so that we can follow your progress. Don Ricardo
