as you might have read, we had a storm come through grays point on friday last week, that caused a bit of damage to our good old roadmaster, which i haven't had the opportunity to start repairing yet.
the delay is partly due to another "big" storm that hit grays point on saturday night and reeked havoc across our leafy suburb, falling trees and branches causing major damage to two houses, wrote off at least 4 cars and badly damaged 6 or more others and punched another hole through the roof of the roadmaster, this time a relatively small hole, only about 3 inches diameter.
edit: (the local newspaper has has just informed us that 54 houses were damaged.)
we've been blacked out due to broken wires since saturday, so we haven't been able to do any repairs to the roof of the van.
here's a few pics of how our suburb looked after the storm passed.
Geez geoff'n'jude it was a doozy of a storm for sure.Saw a lot of the vision on local news.Glad to hear though that by all accounts you, your neighbours & folk caught up in it fared ok considering the damage.
