Thankyou for posting the photos Wildbrumby, we certainly managed to fit a lot in during the 2 weeks on the road travelling 2500klm and visiting many places which I had only heard of previously and some which I had not heard of...……….who has heard of Patchewollock?? It is a pleasure to organise these trips when you have such a great group of people travelling with you and meet so many friendly people both in the little country towns and when we eventually arrived at Bridgewater. I can recommend the silo art trails if you have a couple of weeks to spare and like just toodling around. There are a lot of free or low cost camp sites in the silo art towns where generally we paid $10 to $15 per night for sites including power and water. On the last leg we came home through Khancoban where we set some sort of record by being at the time the highest vintage caravan in Australia when we passed over Dead Horse Gap at 5133feet (1582metres). I need a rest now before starting on a plan for a trip to the next nationals wherever they may be Koala

Great photos! Thanks Nickd15 and wildbrumby.
I have started a new post/thread for the 2020 event. Much the same as last year at this stage but if you have any suggestions they would be welcomed.
Don't forget to join us on Facebook.
Check out Glynis and Richard's great piece on the 2019 meet in the April edition ( No. 38) of Time to Roam magazine if you haven't seen it already.

Hi Marcus, can you tell me how we get our hands on a cooy of Time to Roam? We supposedly won a subscription at Bridgewater, but like others on our table, none of us could actually claim the prize. Is the mag by subscription only?

Is the mag by subscription only? Google "Time to Roam "magazine. "Brendan - ROAM Magazine" <editor@timetoroam.com.au>; Subscribe & you may win a Classic Viscount. The mag is under recent new ownership, & greatly improved, it is the only caravan mag running a Vintage/Classic section, they would appreciate our support.
