Howdy Don257, after hearing that there was a possibility of 2020 not happening, l have a shortlist of possible venues. I am currently on holiday and once l return home l will be making phone calls to various caravan parks and organising this event.

I'm not sure where the suggestion that the 2020 Nationals may not be happening came from? Planning is already underway in the background.
A few people have suggested some possible locations, and as indicated previously on another thread, a couple of possible places are currently being investigated. However, obviously you have been collecting some ideas on your trip up north, and until a final decision is made about location, the door is always open to further suggestions.
While some planning has been happening, the working group has also been having a little break after Wangaratta, but will be reconvening soon. The feedback received from Wangaratta was really helpful, and Tooleyau has drafted a 'Nationals Procedures Manual' which is excellent. So that will be the basis for another great event, hopefully even better than past Nationals, all of which have been memorable.
Quite a few people have offered to help with organising the 2020 Nationals, which is much appreciated. The working group will also be calling for further offers of assistance in due course, and your input will be very welcome.
Oh Boy!!!!! thats great news you guys who work bloody hard behind the scenes to make these events happen. We have been to several of these and love every second of them .I was just being a sticky nose richard to see if any one had any ideas were it could be going to in 2020 and im sure all those who have been to other events were wondering as well. Once again thanks guys WELL DONE!!! TO ALL INVOLVED

Howdy Don Ricardo, whilst attending the Wangaratta Nats earlier this year l was advised (by an organiser)that because of the sad passing of Firefighter (who apparently was a major organiser of National runs) that the 2020 Nats might not happen. At that point l decided to start looking and researching options. Anyway, I'm not fussed by it, as long as it does happen. Cheers - Peter K.
We may be able to attend the 2020 Nats again now all's well in our health system, we enjoyed the last one we would love to join the gathering once again, the old van created so much interest at Woolgoolga last year we had visitors every day, some of the younger ones were taken by how the old vans were simple but effective. I'll stay posted now until the Nats are finalised, we would be glad to help if needed. Best regards Bob and Wendy

The arrangements for the 2020 Vintage Caravan Nationals are almost nailed down! We know there are lots of forum members and others hanging out for the info on where and when! Apologies that it has taken so long to get things sorted.
We have just a couple of more matters to finalise with the park managers, but hopefully will be able to give you the details this coming weekend.
It has been surprisingly hard to find somewhere suitable for the Nats - somewhere with enough sites to fit us all in, that is dog friendly, and has enough places of interest to keep us occupied for the time we are there. We’ve checked out all the places suggested by forum members and people attending the last Nationals, and hope that you will enjoy the selected location.
So hang on for just a few more days...
And thanks Mustangpall for the offer of help. We will be looking for some assistance to organise outings, etc, shortly, so will be in touch with you and others who have offered soon.
