OMG ...YOU TOWED THAT? ? what a project, you will no doubt keep us informed, it will look AMAZING when completed, Congratulations on tackling an an unreal resto. I like the fluffy dunny seat & the exhaust fan? That Jockey wheel tire belongs in a museum .....yours!!!! The significance of finding such a rare & large van in this day & age is incredible.

Towing it wasn't to bad once I worked out the tyre fitter had all the tyres at uneven pressure lots of rope 220 mt of cling rap around the Windows as all the catches were broken the main stress was when the police pulled me up at cambellfield due to how it looked and no number plate but I had paid the $26.40 for the permit looked all over van and car scratched heads at dolly wheel tyre and asked me to go to Kmart and get some red push bike lights and tape them on the side as it was starting to get dark now the work starts as I can have a good look at what I bought cheers chris

Congratulations on your purchase. I will watch your restoration with interest. You have outdone me by 10ft, at 20ft I am pretty sure my van was the biggest bondwood project!!!

Glad to see it has been saved. I recently saw it was still in the same place after first seeing it over 12 months ago. Hope I get to see it returned to it's former glory, including the fluffy toilet lid cover.

Drive through sites sound good it will be convincing the caravan park that it is 32 feet long not 13,2 jenny would be happy as couldn't get out for another road trip to find another Jennison she still keeps saying the yard is full just need a 12 ft to make up a set I hope this comes up as good as the 17 ft jennison cheers chris

Got all the ropes off glad I put them on for the trip from Sydney as about one in three rivets have let go some areas. There is a complete area where there are none in large patches even the tape pulled a lot off this is the front roof I thought the 1600 plus screws on the 17 ft was a lot I got a box of 1000 rivets and used about 800 on the roof only trying to make water tight picture hostinggot rid of the brown wall boards and can work out where a lot of things went now to start stripping to replace the damaged boards 80 % of them the joys of restoring an old caravan cheers chris

The Information I have found says it it 22 feet long 4 feet wide which is longer than the 17 ft Jennison and that was a problem getting it off and on after rebuilding it. Still thinking of ways to remove this one in the summer to rebuild it being all steel it is going to be a little on the heavy side cheers chris

A big thank you to Hughdeany for sending me these brochures as the ones I have are very blurry and now some of it make sense now to try and find 1960s tv radiogram, instant gas instantaneous hot water heater, automatic washing machine, gas stove with glass door and a 5 cubic fridge and I thought my list was small at least I now know where the table goes if any one knows where I can buy any of these please let me know as I want to do it up as close to original thanks chris

This is going to be one huge Reno to get where the brochure is. Ready for Nationals? 2020 or 2022? Looking forward to the transformation. Keep it going forward as I was impressed with the last “Jenno Reno”
