Im still working away,but haven't worked out photos again yet. Im half way thru rebuilding front,even tho i broke another window, pretty happy with my efforts. Started on the vintage barkcloth curtains, even tho i have no windows. No evidence yet of what is it. Determined that I won't give up, but i might stop using angle grinder, it scares me.

Finally some evidence of my caravan. I scratched back to paint on the wood above the front left window, as I could see some colour. Still cant post pictures, but I will work it out eventually. Red and blue writing "Fare..". Still searching and scratching. Thinking it might be " wayfarer" maybe. www.flickr.com/photos/156996380@N03/36753471203/in/dateposted-public/

Its confirmed. 1957 wayfarer with remodelling at the front. Scratched away until i found the kangaroo and a W. Also found on the net a 1958 wayfarer with identical interior. That would explain, no kitchen window like the globetrotters, as the rebadged globes dont appear to have them. Maybe V167 on chassis indicates fitted out and rebadged in Victoria, i have found some evidence that this may have happened in ballarat? Im happy, as have almost finished rebuilding the front as if it was a globetrotter, so haven't gone too far off track. The logo is a beautiful red and aqua blue, almost identical colours to the ruined floor tiles i pulled up

Just spents hours pulling apart the porthole windows. Tomorrow i start my lead light course to replace the glass. I promise i will figure out how to post photos when i have the new port holes to show off.

Lead light window made for porthole. I know it's not original, but I love it. Red glass is from old church. Have broken 4 out of 6 windows in van during Reno. These are in safe spot until the end which is a long time away. Also picked up the cold chisel album on way home from picking up industrial sewing machine. Now let's see if I have mastered flikr? I haven't, this is my best effort. Van is making slow progress, it needs to come out of shed to be able to get to other side, to replace wood on chassis and build up from there. I'm still enjoying it, having no time frame makes it easier. www.flickr.com/photos/156996380@N03/27520737659/in/dateposted-public/

One more practice of flikr and to show my slow progress{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252 {\fonttbl\f0\fnil\fcharset0 .HelveticaNeueInterface-Regular;} {\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;\red0\green0\blue0;\red255\green255\blue255;} \deftab720 \pard\pardeftab720\sl480\qc\partightenfactor0 \f0\fs40 \cf2 \cb3 \expnd0\expndtw0\kerning0 \outl0\strokewidth0 \strokec2 image by michelle rowney, on Flickr\ }

Not much action over summer, other than pondering and buying a caravan cover. Took the back half of aluminum off today, and happily discovered the original paint job, which also confirms wayfarer badged globe. It's red and blue, and again use your imagination. Also forgotten how to paste in pictures www.flickr.com/gp/156996380@N03/mAB55X
