Ok then... photobucket now wants $399 for 3rd party hosting i.e. all photos that are linked to photobucket to appear on forums such as this are now no long visible unless the account user upgrades their account to support 3rd party hosting.
My response to this is:
GET WELL PHUCKED PHOTOBUCKET!

Hi Gordo, Highly annoying, I agree - and don't forget that US$400 translates into nearly $500 Australian! However, it is clear from Photobucket's statements that people on forums like ours are just 'collateral damage'. They are aiming at their really big (probably commercial) users for which $400 will just be the money down the back of the couch. Fortunately for you, at this stage, you only have 42 posts and a few less photos on the forum (unlike those of us who have literally thousands). So maybe you can choose an alternative to Photobucket, upload your photos to that and then just edit your posts and replace the photos? A couple of hours or less will probably do it. There are a couple of alternatives to Photobucket discussed on this thread - but go to page 2 after we've got over our rage and started to look for new options! Flickr and Postimages are two possibilities, but don't use Imgur for reasons explained in one of the posts on that thread. Don Ricardo |

had a look at the top link Gordo, but there seemed to have been a few unhappy chap's. (To say the least)
I am still trying to get my head around how to damn well post a photo.
Any way, back to the subject at hand, I have a rego label from 1947 found in my last caravan and a few from the 1970s, nothing breath taking or stunning at all !!
