We are also booked for Anglesea. Looking forward to a cracking weekend.Seems the Anglesea people are much more obliging than the Queenscliff caravan park people. Lets make this weekend a record breaker and all come along to this lovely park for what promises to be a great weekend. Thanks to those organisers who agreed to the task of putting this all together. The phone number for the Caravan Park is no longer available. I have tried to get an alternative phone number to book. I called Sandra Virgona and she gave me the following. 1800 040 455. I'm not getting thru on that one either. Any suggestions?

We are very excited about the weekend. We will bring our Christmas tree. Alison's girls are interested in the crafting afternoon and want to enhance the Christmas decorations for our van. Alison is very interested in dressing up in a vintage style for the evening dancing. Marcus has been practicing his vocal range so as to sing some cracking Christmas Carols - his current favourite is " I saw three ships ( come sailing in )" - he is also looking forward to plum pudding and custard. If you want to book in for dinner please do so soon ! ( otherwise Marcus might eat all the pudding ... Or it may not happen at all ) Support the organisers and book early.

Great weekend and thanks to all who played a part in the organisation. A wonderful get together dinner on Sat. Night and loved to see the Rock 'n Rollers in action on the dance floor. Great lemon rolling too Wal! Is the puzzle done yet ? Pity it was a Holden ! Terrific to see some new vans as well as some well known favourites. We will look forward to getting together next year and hopefully see you all again at Bridgewater in Feb and the Nationals in April.

Congrats to the 4 couples that put a great deal of time and thought into the running of this first Anglesea Vintage caravan weekend. A wonderful venue, weather perfect, food good, entertainment excellent, dancing only very average, I would have been the best there on the night. Oh Wal could cut a rug fairly well as well as bowl a lemon. A sincere thanks to the team for putting a wonderful weekend on for us aLL to enjoy. Now do I bring a Pineapple next year instead of a fruit cake?

We would like to thank the team that put the weekend together. It was a big undertaking arranging event stickers, flyers, decorations, catering, dressing up the art deco hall with christmas themes, all the clothes for the pass the parcel game after Saturday dinner, the rock'n'roll and line dancing, spin the bottle (oops) I mean musical squares with lemon bowling. A big thank you to those who travelled from outside Victoria to attend amongst the 45 or so caravans plus a couple in cabins. An especially big thank you to Ray, Jackie and the staff of the caravan park who were excellent hosts and helped in any way they could.
Below are the photos I took during the weekend, some are a bit blurry, but you will get the picture (pun intended) of the fun we had especially on Saturday night.
This weekend was the debut of our Baby Furness 10 foot caravan and we are very pleased with it. It was worth the past 3 months of restoration to get it ready. Hope to see you all soon. In the meantime we wish you all a very merry Christmas and Happy caravanning New Year. Mike & Lyn
