Hi everyone,
Thought it was time to start organising this event again. All sites from last year were re booked before we left the park , I have also put another 6 sites on hold for anyone else brave enough to see what the weather can throw at us .
The camp kitchen was a bonus last year and the pizza oven is up and running now , so hopefully we will get some use out of these facilities. Maybe we should put out a call for " fiviesies " to be held there each afternoon .
If you could all let me know if you can make it , either on here or by PM , I will keep the park updated.
See you all there,
Jude & Geoff

Hi.
My husband and I will tent it. Our van won't be finished but ready to get into the atmosphere. No electricity needed but a warm campfire and a tree to sleep under would be great.
Can you please book us in. We will stay 20 and 21st.
Thanks Kerri

Hi Kerri,
The park doesn't have any unpowered sites and definitely no campfires. If you would like to attend can you ring the park in n 4295 1123 and book a site . Not many sites left , as it is a very popular park
Regards Jude

Hi everyone ,
Nearly time for our annual Shellharbour get together , hopefully the winds will leave us alone this year . As of today we have one waterfront site available , so if anyone wants to grab it you better get in fast . This available for the Friday and Saturday nights only , send me a PM if you are interested , it won't last long.
We haven't arranged any set outings , a picnic day has been suggested which sounds like fun , so bring your picnic rugs and picnic sets if you would like to have some old fashioned fun.
See you all soon
Jude and Geoff

Hey Geoff, yes it would be good if you could leave the fan at home this year I am still hoping that we can make it in the Wayfarer. Booked for registration inspection on 9th. The interior will not be finished but at least we will have a bed to sleep in and a fridge to keep the beer cold. No interior lights so will need to get the old kero lamp out again:)) Koala

Hello all Shellharbour peoples,
Last year we went to the Oak Flats Bowlo for dinner , but apparently there has been a change in caterers. My trusty local adviser has made a couple of suggestions, the local Thai is reportedly very nice, the local pub is pretty good but a bit expensive and the big Shellharbour Club has a dining precinct with lots of options . We can decide when we are all together .
There don't seem to be any car shows on the weekend we are there, there is a farmers market at the little park near the beach that sells fresh produce , bread , cakes etc on Saturday and the other market looks like it has moved up near the crossroads . The garage trail is on that weekend , so lots of scrounging to be had 😉.
The camp kitchen has a microwave and a microwave/ convection oven for baking scones etc . The pizza oven is finished , haven't checked how often it is lit .
Looking forward to catching up with everyone again and meeting the newcomers who have decided to be braver and join us
Jude and Geoff

Good morning Jude , looking forward to another long weekend of you all enjoying my company which Pamela and Rattcliffe have all the time. How lucky are they?? As Pamela will be travelling by train a few days earlier for a family visit Rattcliffe has been given the choice of tow car. The 240Z has been picked as he can sit on the ledge between the seats and have almost 360 degrees vision. It would be great if we can get the pizza oven fired up so we can make some home made specials. Pamela will also make some lemonade scones.
JD.
