ITS ON AGAIN. 16TH - 18TH SEPTEMBER 2016. Open to anyone with a vintage van to come along and enjoy the weekend here in the beautiful Grampians area of Victoria. As we did last year we will have toilets and showers available but no powered sites. There are some cabins available for anyone wanting to come along who dont have a van at present. A donation to cover costs of power and water is all we ask. We will provide a welcome sausage sizzle again on the Friday night. Maybe BYO salads to share would be good. If anyone has some ideas or would like to entertain us on the Saturday night please give us a call. To help with planning just give us a call or email us if you would like to come along. We would love to meet everyone again and see some new vans as well. Max and Jenny Green. 0408737218 email olddadswell@activ8.net.au www.olddadswelltown.com.au

Have had great weekends at Ol' Dadswells in previous years so we will be back again - you'll need some new "Dad" jokes though Max.

Great to hear preparations are all in order and it will be terrific to have some live Sat. Night music in front of the open fire. I like two sorts the of music - Country and ......Western ........... that's the first Dad joke right there ! I hope you have been storing them up Max ( only new ones count ) and looking forward to another visit. Safe travels all.
Ps Max might need you to have a look at the accelerator cable again. Bert still going strong but needs some adjustment I think - an additional sinker might do it.

We too are curious as to the water conditions. Do you know what roads are closed & how much water is lying over your place?

Just an update for everyone. The weekend is definitely on and we are going ahead with everything as planned. The paddocks are very wet but around the cabin areas are Ok and we are sure we can fit everyone in OK. The driveway is a bit damp lol but it is solid. The Town Hall fire will be going as well as Maxs garage fire so we will all be comfortable. The weekend weather here seems to be fine with little rain expected. The Western Highway in our area is open but I am not sure of other road closures and it could change in 2 days as well so I guess everyone has to make there own decisions to attend but we are hoping to see you all here if you can make it. Cheers Max and Jenny.

Neil Higgins entertained us. Neil also wrote a song for us called 'I'm a little vintage caravan'. If someone can tell me how to share a video on here, I'll post it! Max doing 'The Gambler' Marcus & Mr & Mrs Shesgotthelook Sunday bushwalk followed by morning tea Traditional photo

Great photos SGTL. Thanks for posting them, It was obviously a great weekend. (Hope none of you got too waterlogged going or coming!)
Regarding your video, in principle you can upload it to Photobucket and then copy the link to your post in the normal way. If you then click on the 'photo' in the post, the video will run in a Photobucket window (but you need to tell people to click on the photo, there's no normal 'Play arrow' symbol). I just tried it and it works, but in practice success may depend on the size of the video clip (mine was 65 MB) and the speed of your internet connection for the upload.
An alternative is to upload the video to YouTube and then post the link to the clip. In that case the clip will play in the forum window.
