As you can see in the photo, there is a little bit of rot in the roof of my new van so I've decided to re-skin the whole lot. It was originally 3 ply which is what I'm going to replace it with but I don't know how to bend it around the corners at the end of the roof? Do you wet it, or put it in the sun? I want to start asap so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd, if the 3 ply is only 5 or 6 mm thick you shouldn't have any problems shaping it around those bends dry. That's what I used on my teardrop and found it to be quite simple. Cheers Paul

Thanks for replying guys. I've already replaced one of the sides and if the rain stops I hope to have the other side finished on the weekend. Will give you a call Richard before I pull the roof off but it will be in a couple of weeks. Thanks again, Todd

Hi Humpty, I've been that busy working on the van that I haven't taken as many progress photos as I should have but I've got plenty of before photos so I'll bring them all to Coledale. I'll hopefully be replacing the other side tomorrow if the rain stops so there should be some good ones.
