Get ready for an injection of fun. Dr shots has a cure for what ails ya. A good dose of Halloween at Samford. For those that have not attended before we have a meet and greet BBQ on Friday night which is included in your $15. Saturday night is in the hall where we have a shared meal. Everyone brings a meal to share followed by entertainment provided by a DJ and dancing. This is a night to indulge yourself in your inner spook and dress up in your best Halloween costume. The idea of the weekend is to come together as a group so we have a communal area. Last year Linda and Peter provided us with annexes and tables but unfortunately they will not be attending this year so we would be grateful to anyone that could bring along any extra tables and annexes that could help with this area. We are looking forward to this weekend nd hopefully it will be as good if not better than last year. Cheers Stan and deb

The latest update for all those that have not attended before. Friday night is a BBQ and fright night games. Saturday morning breakfast. Giveaway table Saturday afternoon. This is a table where we donate items that we think others in the group would enjoy. You receive a ticket and when it is called you pick from the table of these items. Saturday night is dress up night where you don your best Halloween costume. This dinner is held in the hall. We all bring a dish to share with the group. So we have a variety of dishes some may bring entree, main or dessert. This year I shall be bringing an entree and a dessert. After we shall have a DJ for entertainment and dancing. Sunday breakfast. Bbq, breakfasts and hire of hall is included in $15 per person which is to be deposited into Suncorp D. Rickards BSB 484 799. Account no. 154877101. Include username or name for reference. Camping fees of $15 per night I will be collecting on Saturday afternoon. To make it easier for BBQ and breakfasts we like to have a communal area but are in need of annexes and tables. If anyone can help with this it would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading all this essay.
See ya all soon Stan and deb

Hi all. All the best for a great Christmas party at Samford. Sorry we cant be there to enjoy the shenanigans and comradery. My good friend from Burrum Heads, Dick McMullen, is driving down especially on the Saturday morning to Samford to have a look at the gathering of vintage vans. Dick is responsible for all the interior fitout work on our current 16' Sunliner restoration. He has also been bitten by the "V Van" bug and is currently restoring a little Carapark Hunter back to life. He asked me if I thought he could look inside some of the vans. Of course I told him that we were a friendly mob ,and that it shouldn't be a problem if he asked nicely!!! Dick is a master craftsman in his trade over 50 years or so and is a wealth of knowledge regarding anything made out of wood and shares his knowledge willingly. Please make him feel welcome, as I know you would. Read more: seqvintagecaravanmob.proboards.com/thread/1004/samford-christmas-party-2016?page=2#ixzz4PjgNZ9xM
