I think that you have done an amazing job. It's very inspiring to see Ken and Judy.
When is the car show in March that you are hoping to attend? Shaun and I may come down for a sticky beak.

Yes my goal is to take the van to the Wheels combined clubs car display day which will be held in Canberra on 12 March 2017. Visitors are always welcome to display so let me know if you would like to attend. Koala

Looking great Ken.
you should pat yourself on the back for that resto and I am sure Granddad would be proud.
Good work and thanks for sharing the journey with us.

This is the result from two years work, hundreds of screws, litres of paint many tubes of glue and not a small amount of swearing It seems like the last `small' jobs take forever so after almost 2 days on my back preparing, sealing and painting the underside it was a real milestone to hitch up Grandads Van for the first time since 1962 and take it for a trip to the weighbridge. The weighbridge ticket says 1.06 tonne which I guess is to be expected and it is now booked in for a registration inspection on Monday. For some reason the back window colour looks loke teal in the photo but it is actually dark blue the same as the side windows. It tows well and feels lighter than the '69 Franklin. Time for a beer !!!! Koala

Why don't you sell the Franklin and keep the family van. my van is under a Bunning's tarp out side.
