The first Propert I bought on Ebay was later offered to the person who I beat at the auction, from a fellow in Norway!!!! I ended up finding another Propert for the fellow I beat on Ebay, which turned out to be the oldest one ever found to date and in pristine condition ............... And ........... wait for it....... it cost him $800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all
this beauty of a van now belongs to my family I took a chance and I can say the seller was far from a "scamer" and very genuine. My family are now proud owners of a vintage van and we are looking forward to getting stuck into restoring our little bargain. Kylie

Thanks guys :-) once I figure out how to navigate my way around I will post some pics of her. She is a lot prettier than the pictures show and overall a great find. You will see the nasties as I strip her back for restoring. it has a lot of original parts including the fridge :-) im over the moon about that. I was a part of kingfishers resto on bessie and am now an avid believer of these old gems. Can't wait to join you all on the road sometime

We were up visiting our uncle when my friend Kylie was bringing her new van home from Sale, so as it was just around the corner we all went and had a look. Open for inspection Surprisingly even the crank handle for the rear stabilizers was with the van and they wound down first go. Inside looks original, although there is no sink but does have a water tank underneath. Space for the stove, going by the whole where the stove sits I suspect it had a gas stove. I was a little surprised that the walls are single skin and have no exposed framing inside. It looks like they rely on the cupboards and window boxes above the windows to provide the main structural strength. Original fridge, I realy hope it works. Even then it could be repaired. (I feel a little green , a touch of fridge envy) Table is in great nick The roof inside needs some work and framing as there is some rot. But the outside looks like it just needs some love, but it's not beyond repair, by any means. Fitted with hydraulic override brakes, needs a service!!! Congratulations Buddy and I think you got a great dooer-upper, looking forward to seeing her in a few years . Welcome my friend, to the VV forum. PS: When you have given her/him a name don't forget to tell us all in the 'Members Photo Album' forum in the " What's you vans name" thread.
