Hello All,
I'm selling my father's Cargill Caravanette Trailer on his behalf. He is the original owner. It comes with 2 sets of canvass and the annex as well. It is in very good condition and has been garaged all it's life. Can someone advise as to how much it is worth or how much I should advertise it for please? Kind Regards, Mal

Kind Regards, Mal Hello again, I'm now a bone fide member of the forum. Would appreciate any help/advice. The trailer has been in the family since the mid 60's and was bought in Perth. Everything is in great condition including the 2 sets of canvas and the annex. Thanks in anticipation. Mal

Hi again,
Sorry to be a pain but if anyone knows what it is worth (approximately) I would appreciate it. I'm going to take photos this weekend and put it up for sale hopefully next week. Rg, Mal

Hi Mal This is probably why you're not getting much of a response here. VALUING CARAVANS The value of vintage caravans varies widely according to the age, scarcity, condition and desirability of the caravan in question. In the end, the value of a caravan depends on what one person is willing to pay another at a given time, based on their specific interests and preferences. For this reason we ARE NOT ABLE to assist in valuing caravans. Read more: vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/7111/forum-guidelines#ixzz3JU9BP5KX

Mal, I wonder if you're better off not having a Buy it Now price, as it is double the starting bid price. Why not simply have a reserve on it and see what the auction goes up to. If it doesn't make the reserve, you don't have to sell it, but it will give you an indication of what people are prepared to pay.

It's now been relisted and the starting price is now $299. www.ebay.com.au/itm/151501597048?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Hello & welcome Paul. Mal's post is from 2014 & he hasn't been online here since 2015 so imagine he sold the Cargill some years ago. Regards, SGTL
