I bought the Single spinner from a mate in Maryborough in Feb this year. He is doing the panel work, hopefully it will be in undercoat ready for me to do my bit in 3 weeks. Nice acquisition Whippy!
Welcome to the forum. We look forward to seeing your progress on both the van and the vehicle.
(It occurred to me that this forum must be one of the only places in the world where the van always comes before the vehicle... ;D)

Hi Whippy, Reckon ya can get it all together by March next year and join the road trip to MT Gambier?
Looks like you got the Franklin Caravelle Limo (19 footer). Good van with good aerodynamics for towing. Enjoy the resto on both. Cheers, Gristy

Hopefully the van will go on it's full test out in about a month.
The goal with the ute is to have it ready for the Bright Rod run in November. Thanks to delays in the rust repairs, I doubt it will be ready but I will give it a go.

Hi Whippy A mate had a single spinner ford ute years ago. It had a perfect body so He sprayed it gloss black. He threw out the old motor and fitted a 351 clevo with an FMX g/box out of an XY Fairmont. Ran 12" chromed rims on the back and 8's on the front. What a beautiful car it was Another mate in the Norton Club has a fawn coloured twin spinner sedan. dead stock and very tidy ..... hmmmmm might hit him up and see if i can score it as a tow car Good luck with the resto on your ute. Dont rush it or turn it into a rat rod. The old girl desrves better than that . The van looks like an easy resto/tidy up. Look forward to seeing the 2 married up together ..... and i bet you do too. ;D Reddo
