From: Mel Paull Sent: Wednesday, 4 February 2015 4:40 PM Subject: Vintage Van Sunrise news Dear Vintage Vanner’s We have some very exciting news! Sunrise's Edwina (Eddie) Bartholomew will be broadcasting six live crosses from Let’s Go Caravan, Camping and Lifestyle Show, Friday 20 February 2015. The main feature of these crosses will be our vintage vans!! Due to Sunrises live timeslot of Friday 6-9am, we would like to invite you to move into the Showground a day earlier – Thursday 18 February between 6 and 8pm. We understand, due to late notice this will not be possible for all vanners thus are allowing move in to occur on either the Thursday or Friday 6 – 8pm. Can you please advise at your earliest possible convenience if you will be arriving on Thursday 19 or Friday 20. We would love for as many of you as possible to join us on the Thursday evening (meaning a three night stay). Alternatively you may wish to drop your van and return only during the day time hours of our show (10-5pm). If you have any questions please feel free to email or call me on 8260 or 0458 120 910.

Hi All This was a great event, which I am sure will be bigger and better over the coming years should we all be invited back to another show.I recommended to the CEO David that perhaps we be invited every second year (that is the opposite year to our National meet)so that the event does not'burnout' with having it every year. As you all know we did not make Sunrise TV due to the Q'ld cyclone which was a shame,- but thats life. The item that effected us the most was the 40 degree heat on Saturday and the Sunday, and packing up in it at 500pm on Sunday, it was still 34 gerees at 800pm at Truro where I stayed over night. I hope I am around to attend the next invite to the show. Thanks to those who have posted the photographs. Cheers boblor

The South Australian Caravan and camping show sounds great! Also similar to this, is the Caravan Show in Rose Hill NSW, I have heard about different camping venues that were going to be there. I saw on the Facebook Page that Homecamp will be there. I found this very interested as I saw an article about them on Channel 7 sunrise about how many backpackers and camper were staying in these properties for a good and affordable price I hope this helps and you guys can find a good location to stay in !!!
