TRAVELUXE CARAVANS [Queensland]Manufactured by Traveluxe Caravans 50 Bowen Bridge Road, Bowen Hills & 152 Breakfast Creek Road, Newstead, Qld Note the Traveluxe name was also used for re-branded Furness caravans sold by Motors Limited in Adelaide, South Australia - see here
Advertisement for Traveluxe Caravans rigid and collapsible/telescopic caravans published in the Brisbane Sunday Mail of Sunday, 12 September 1937 (page 29): (Source: National Library of Australia nla.gov.au/nla.news-article97902280 ) As far as can be seen from a somewhat blurry photo, the Traveluxe seems to have had a style ahead of its time. By that I am referring to the curved floorline at the front and the back (as opposed to the more usual flat floorline much more common in 1937), and the curved roofline which almost gives it a side profile similar to a 1960's Franklin Caravelle. Some further adverts for Traveluxe Caravans which appeared in the Brisbane The Courier-Mail on Friday, 23 June 1939 (page 10)... (Source: National Library of Australia nla.gov.au/nla.news-article40840301 ) ...and Wednesday, 9 August 1939, (page 9), which tell us a bit more about the models available, etc.: (Source: National Library of Australia nla.gov.au/nla.news-article40849866 ) Don Ricardo
